Ingredients
- 400g Puff pastry
- 250ml Milk
- 150g Sugar
- 4 Egg yolks
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 tsp Ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to a high temperature (about 230°C).
- Grease muffin tins with butter.
- Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into circles to fit the muffin tins.
- Heat milk in a saucepan and add sugar, stirring until dissolved.
- Mix egg yolks in a bowl and gradually add the warm milk mixture.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pastry cases.
- Bake for about 15-20 minutes until the tops are caramelized.
- Cool for 5 minutes before removing from the tins.
- Serve with powdered sugar and cinnamon sprinkle.
Notes
Work with cold pastry for better layers and ensure the cream thickens without boiling.
