Description
A quick and creamy chocolate quark dessert that’s perfect for the whole family.
Ingredients
- 250 g Quark (20% or low-fat quark)
- 200 ml cream or a plant-based alternative
- 2 to 3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 to 3 tbsp honey, sugar, or maple syrup to taste
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar or a splash of vanilla extract
- Optional: 1 handful of crushed cookies or chocolate shavings
Instructions
- Whip the cream until stiff, making sure not to overwhip it.
- Mix the quark with cocoa, sweetener, and vanilla until smooth.
- Fold the whipped cream gently into the quark mixture until fluffy.
- Fill into glasses and optionally top with cookie crumbs.
- Chill for at least 30 minutes, or serve immediately if short on time.
Notes
For kids, make two versions: one with more cocoa for adults and a milder one with less cocoa and more vanilla for kids.
